Antique Handspun Cotton Thread

These beautiful old Japanese cotton cops were sold to me as 'Edo Period' which is 1600-1868. I think it's safe to say 19th century at least.  These are beautiful antique examples for spinners and weavers or other textile collectors.  The outer lay of thread is quite dusty  and has some age spots form long term storage. they're about 12cm long and 4 cm in diameter.  The thread is very fine and not very strong but would  be something very special and authentic to add to a boro inspired piece.
