Old Wooden Crane Stamps
A set of old (early 20th century?) wooden stamps that I think have been used on textiles, but possibly paper. Japanese cranes are traditionally used as good lucky symbols on textiles for wedding trousseaus because they keep the same mate for life. The legs are on separate stamps and so seem to be interchangeable - you could definitely have fun playing with them anyway! The largest stamp , with three birds is approximately 28cm x 7cm.
