Wire Silkworm Cocoon Scoop

Old  silkworm cocoon scoop used in the  household production of silk.   This has been well-used and the wire mesh is damaged and quite fragile. It's only suitable for display and would make a rare and interesting addition to a textile collection.   Probably early - mid 20th century.
