Chrysanthemum Obidome

 Obidome is a decorative  buckle like accessory  that is worn on  the  obijime cord  which is  the final layer of an obi ensemble.  This lovely boxwood obidome features a very finely carved basket of chrysanthemums. It measures 3.4cm x 6cm.  It could be  adapted to wear as a brooch.  I'm not sure of  it's age but I'd guess early - mid 20th century.
