Egasuri Indigo Cotton

A length of indigo cotton egasuri (picture  kasuri)    kakebuton  (top futon) cover fabric.  A lovely pattern of water and blossoms (possibly cherry) . It measures 34cm x 145cm and has a couple of tiny marks  but otherwise is in lovely condition.  Beautiful as a feature panel in an indigo quilt - or just to hang on the wall.   Early - mid 20th century
