Antique Ramie Woman's Kimono
This is an unusual woman's kimono with three kamon, family crests (ivy) denoting that it's a formal kimono but it's quite a rustic homespun weave. It's definitely a bast fibre - I think ramie. There are some very small patches, and irregularities in the colour which add to it's character and uniqueness. Late 19th - early 20th century.
