Antique mosu kimono and juban (undergarment ) fabric. Mosu is Japanese for muslin which up until the mid 20th century at least was typically a fine wool. It looks like cotton at first but has a distinctive slightly rough feel. Because it's wool it also typically comes with some insect damage! This bundle of early - mid 20th century pieces is in varying conditions with insect damage and some patches, Especially lovely for slow stitch projects that would make the most of the old, fragile character of these pieces.
