Plum Blossom Michiyuki

Vibrant,  bold  ume (plum blossom) design michiyuki coat,  Michikyuki literally means 'go in the street'  because they're worn outside over your kimono.  These days they're usually just called 'koto' (coat).  But most of my customers are probably wearing them over a pair of jeans!  It measures 86cm shoulder to hem and 134cm cuff to cuff  and should fit up to an Australian size 14.   Probably 1960s or 70s .
