Silk Satin Bolt

I had trouble capturing just how  vibrant and delicious this fabric is - like a cherry dessert!  I still haven't got it right but I promise  you won't be disappointed.  This is a full bolt  36.5cm x 12m of 100%   silk designed for a michiyuki 'coat' - which is worn outdoors over a kimono.  The satin weave gives it some body but it's still surprisingly soft.  Lots of potential for a stunning garment  - or any project.  Mid- late 20th century
