Vintage Cafe Curtain

This is an unusual piece! It's a single piece of fabric  130cm x 210cm with small metal rings ( a bit rusty) along the long side. It looks like it's from a cafe or restaurant. There's one small tear.  Nogueira isn't a Japanese word -  google only has it as a  Portuguese name.  Western cafes and restaurants were definitely  popular in Tokyo at least from well before the war and there were connections with Brazil throughout the 20th century.  To me this has a  mid-20th century 'Showa Retro' feel but it might be older.
