Antique mosu kimono and juban (undergarment ) fabric bundle. Mosu (from 'muslin') is a very fine imported wool that was used from the late 19th century for juban, children's kimonos and other garments. It looks like cotton at first but has a distinctive slightly rough feel. Because it's wool it also typically comes with some insect damage! This bundle of early - mid 20th century pieces is in varying sizes and conditions with quite a bit of insect damage. These would be especially lovely for slow stitch projects that would make the most of their unique designs and old, fragile character.
