A two metre length of vibrant unused indigo sekka shibori cotton. Sekka means snow flowers and is an itajime clamp style of shibori. This is a very soft cotton that was commonly used for babies' clothing. The dynamic asa-no-ha hemp leaf pattern was traditional for babies and considered good luck. The width is 34cm. I've cut this from a bolt in the shop contact me about availability if you'd like a longer length. Early - mid 20th century.
