Old School Uniform Buttons (4) - Small
Twenty unused kabuse ('cover') buttons for boys' middle school gakuran school uniform. These are hollow, lightweight and are 16mm in diameter. The traditional school motif is a cherry blossom design with the character 中 for middle. This style of uniform was based on Prussian military uniforms and hasn't really changed since the early 20th century (though blazers have become more common in recent years).
