Boro Threads

Traditional  boro repairs were stitched with whatever thread was on hand - often thinner than thread used for sashiko.  I've made up packs of six new and old Japanese threads which reflect the character and variety of threads found in authentic antique Japanese mending.  Each pack is a unique mix (the photo is an example only) but will mostly be cotton with possibly some linen or ramie.  The length and thickness vary and colours may include indigo, off-white, neutral and black.  Add an authentic touch to boro style repairs or patchwork!
