Handpainted Zuan Design (2)

Early - mid 20th century  hand painted  fabric design or zuan on washi paper.  46cm x 61.5 cm. This is an unusual, dark floral design for a kimono or possibly juban undergarment. The alternating direction of the pattern confirms that it's been for a kimono style garment at least.  There are  four small  holes along the top where it has been bound in a folio. There's a join in the paper and some creasing near the join,  and some  other  small creases.  There is some information on the back (artist's name. factory, design number, etc)  in handwriting that is hard  to read.
