Handpainted Zuan Design (3)

Early - mid 20th century hand painted   design (zuan) for a  young woman's  formal kimono.   The design is plum blossoms and a stamp on the backing paper  gives the title as 'beginning of Spring' .  34.5cm x  51cm on washi paper.  It's been glued  to the backing paper along the top edge and there is creasing along that line. there are some small marks and discolouring.
