This is an unusually long and heavy antique boro piece - it's possibly been a futon cover that's been opened up lengthwise. It measures approx 1m x 3m. There are at least two layers of fabric all over so it's quite heavy and very sturdy. The colour is a wonderful deep inky indigo. This has lots of possibilities! Late 19th - early 20th century.
