Modern Japanese Negoro Lacquer Box

Solid wooden negoro lacquered box in excellent condition.  Rich dark orange with black streaks exposed from the undercoat which highlight the wood grain. A classic minimalist design that's also handy to store small treasures!  Size including lid is 24.5 x 17 x 8cm.  Late 20th century.
