Old Silk Thread Sample Card

An old  shop sample book of kimono threads which were (and still are)  sold on cards for hand sewing.  The cover and the text above the numbers says they are also common colours for machine threads.  The brand on the cover is Kyosakura but the label pasted on the inside is Nikoniko brand.  The  Japanese cover translates to 'Kyosakura Brand  - Silk card wound  - Silk machine thread  - Common colour sample book '.  It measures 18cm x 26cm when folded. The cover is quite discoloured/marked and the inside paper has age marks.  Mid -20th century.
