Man's Silk Obi

Unusual soft silk man's obi still in its original Sogo department store box. 100% silk 2.85m x 8cm.  The box label translates to ' Special selection lightweight fukuro obi'. Fukuro ('bag') obi usually refers to a wide formal woman's obi, and the construction here is the same:  a single length of fabric folded lengthwise.  It would make a beautiful woman's sash or long scarf as well.  Not very old, probably very late 20th century.
