Vintage Brass and Leather Adjustable Thimble

These are old haberdashery shop stock.  traditional  Japanese thimbles are usually metal or leather - I hadn't seen ones that are both before.  Or ones that are this beautifully designed! They have an adjustable brass base with a very hard leather inset.  They're not only perfect  for  traditional unshin stitching of kimono,  sashiko etc  but are a good general purpose adjustable  thimble as well.  The price is for one thimble.  Mid 20th century?
