Vintage Cotton Wata Wadding

A bundle of unused traditional cotton wadding still with original Mitsukoshi department store packaging.  This would have originally been sold to use in traditional garments but it is  definitely  more suitable for craft work.  I know from experience that  it isn't washable - which is why I very rarely have old padded garments in the shop.  Traditionally garments were unpicked to be laundered and then re-stitched.  Early Mid 20th century
