Vintage Sashiko Fabric (2)

Traditionally sashiko was done on plain indigo dyed antique cotton like this. This piece has  come from an old futon cover and dates from  early  - mid 20th century.   It's unusual for me to get such a long piece  in  excellent condition like this. Lovely to stitch on. 34cm x  228cm
